Strange Talking Animals is a band that fuses several styles of music. We've been called "ambitiously odd" by the Onion, thank you very much, and we aim to keep it that way.

The brain-child of Brad James Beske, inspired by bands like Pink Floyd, the Beatles, the Cure, Ringo Shiina, Daniel Amos, Charles Mingus and Mr. Children (to name a few). Born out of the loss of a best friend and powered by some very talented musicians: Keo, Kevin Jensen, Joe Gomez, Paul Dunne, Erik McCartney, Freddy Wells, John Baab, Danny Sabella, Dr. Ricky Watts, Jaime Garcia, Luis Ramirez, Nani Mathews, Andrew Blanchard, Patrick O'Leary, Paul Hickey, Mikel Larrinaga in NYC. Travis Drumm, Shannon Callaway, Meghan Rose in Madison, WI and past musicians: Jason Nyberg (A Catapult Western), Casey Dinger (Neverlaend) and Laura Detert (A Catapult Western & Little Red Wolf).
